Once upon a time....

there was a well known and dreaded knight. Always loyal to his master, he was in constant struggle against alleged enemies and oponents. In countless battles, he had shed his own, as well as others blood. So much blood, that his former splendid suit of armor, was tainted all over with bloodstains, that it seemed to be black. That is how he became known, far beyond the boundaries of the kingdom, as "the Black Knight".

He spent many years travelling in battle in a world full of violence. In the seldom moments of peace, the black knight, realized slowly, that violence, brutality and arrogance conducted and dictated his battles. Even though many of his dark doings seemed to be necessary and venturous, they caused agony and misery. The knight came to the conclusion, that he wanted to employ his doing and fighting to do good and battle agony and misery. With this deep insight he rode off to find a better world.

But wherever he arrived he found violence, brutality and arrogance, causing incredible agony and misery. He could no longer just close his eyes and watch deedless. Ever more often he stopped to fight injustice, help and protect the people.

He noticed, how well it did him and his sould to make a better world. He also started to understand why there was so much evil and injustice in the world, that so many people had become helpless, tired and scared and why they looked at him with empty, almost dead eyes. He discovered that people needed somebody, that would give them back hope and courage.

Very soon it became his duty, to bring people their hope and courage back. With great benevolence he found out, how happy it him to see how the eyes of the people came back to live.

The world is very big and the knight was incesstantly on the way. He rode inexorable though time, outdared the wind, sand- and snowstorms. Nothing could stop his fight for a better world. Only his suit of armor was bleached by the sun and polished by water, sand and snow, until it was wiped down to its silver metal shine. That's how he turned into "the Silver Rider".
